199Z: Diversity Revisited

Art Direction + Design

“A unification of both previously-unseen collections and award-winning work, this showcase is not just one of materiality. It is more so an extraordinary narrative that highlights the complexities and visions of diversity held by the youngest generation of fashion designers.”

I was the Art Director for this project with the London School of Economic’s Fashion Society, in charge of all promotional materials and in-gallery graphics, opting for a dark and subversive aesthetic. As Saatchi Gallery has historically been a space for showcasing white, male talent, the concept revolved around young, diverse students questioning this canon and confronting the gallery with a rebellious youthfulness.
